Things to know for your rental

  • Pick your desired unit and the dates of your vacation and call us at 704-721-6547 or contact us for availability and a quote.
  • Place a deposit to hold your reservation. Our rental reservation deposits are:
    • $750 for Class A rentals
    • $500 for Class C rentals
    • $250 for Travel Trailer rentals
  • No special license is needed for any of our units, but the minimum age for drivers is 25 due to insurance restrictions.
  • Minimum rental is 3 days.
  • If you need to cancel your reservation, more than 30 days before your rental start date is a full refund minus a $50 fee.
  • If you need to cancel your reservation, 30 days or less from your rental start date, your deposit is forfeited in full, but you keep a credit you can use in the next 6 months for the amount minus the $50 fee towards another rental.
  • At time of pick up, your estimated rental charges, minus the deposit you have already paid, is due. Also at this time, your credit card will be charged for a damage deposit,  $1000 for all rental units. This will be credited back to your card within 7 days of return if the unit is returned in the same condition it left in.
  •  We do not charge any additional insurance per day. The premium is paid by us. In the event of an accident, the renter is responsible for the deductible: $1000 on all rental units, motorhomes and travel trailers. Note that this is per accident, so if you have 2 separate incidents, there will be 2 deductibles due.
  • If you are going to be late returning, we must be notified immediately. You are covered on insurance for the days you planned and paid for. We have to make arrangements with our insurance. Please keep in mind, we schedule our units by your original plans. We may have the specific unit going out the next day to another customer.
  • 24/7 returns allowed. We have a key drop box on site.
  • All accidents that require an insurance claim must be reported immediately. If it involves property damage to any other vehicle or structure, it requires a police report.
  • As long as the unit is returned full of fuel, clean, with no damage, and no extra miles, the damage deposit will be returned to you. If there is a charge, we will contact you and deduct the amount from your deposit. If there is a insurance claim, we will charge you the full deductible. Keep in mind, if you have 2 separate accidents, that is 2 deductibles you must cover.
  • You are allowed 100 miles per day and 5 generator hours per day(ex: for a 5 day rental you would have 500 free miles and 25 free generator hours). Extra miles are billed at $0.42 each and generator hours are $3.00 per hour. We can estimate your charges at the time we quote you if you provide your destination.
  • We are liberal with dogs. We ask that you cover the furniture and clean up all the hair before returning the unit. Deep cleaning charges may apply if not returned clean.
  • No smoking at all inside the units. Deep cleaning charges will be captured from your damage deposit if there is evidence of smoking in the units.
  • Feel free to use our awnings, but be aware that they are not covered by insurance. You must be conscious of the weather and store them if there is a chance of wind or heavy rain damage. Any damages will be billed to you.
  • Defects on Radio / CD / TV / DVD / GPS, generator, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, cruise control, awning, slide-out malfunction, etc. are not considered to be mechanical breakdowns and excluded from refunds. No exceptions.
  • The use of stabilizers on our motorhomes is prohibited. Although we try to keep them operational, inexperienced campers improperly use stabilizers, ie as leveling jacks, they are stabilizers only and not to be used to jack up the unit, they extend them with slides out , which can cause the windshield to pop out or permanent warping of the frame, or they drive off with them down, bending and damaging the ram and possibly the frame. For this reason we forbid the use and customers will be charged for any damage that occurs from their use.
  • We have a 24/7 roadside assist service and will try everything we can to get you help in the event of a breakdown, flat tire, or equipment failure. But, we are not a trip insurance company and the limit of our liability is to refund any lost rental days, with a delay of more than 5 hours considered a lost day.
  • Our travel trailers do not have on board generators. If you are “dry camping”, not in a campground with hookups, you will need a generator if you plan on running air conditioning or your power outlets. The refrigerator, water heater, and stove can run off propane, and the lights and water pump can run off the battery.
  • Insurance does not allow travel to Mexico, or the 5 boroughs of New York, only I-95 to pass through. Travel to Canada is allowed for US Citizens. Travel to Death Valley during the summer months is strongly discouraged and renter will be responsible for any damage due to extreme heat (ie tires, overheating, towing)
